  • Signing of a partnership MOU with State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC)
    – Viet Nam;
  • Round Table on Nation Branding (Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam).
    A first effort by Tri Viet to present the issue of Nation Branding in a more systematic and all-around way with an aim to take part in developing public awareness about the significance, importance and relevance of the concept of Nation Brand, and its building in Viet Nam.   • Mme Ton Nu Thi Ninh was invited as Keynote Speaker to Monash University Conference "Engaging with Vietnam: An Interdisciplinary Dialogue", Melbourne (Feb 23-24).


January 2010

  • At US-VN Education Conference "Building partnerships in higher education: opportunities and challenges for the U.S. and Vietnam", January 14-15 in Ha Noi, Mme Ton Nu Thi Ninh was invited to be on the panel of Breakout Session 2, speaking on the "Challenges of Creating a Private University as a Social Enterprise in Viet Nam".

December 2009

  • TVIU Electrical Engineering Working Group: teleconference on curriculum building;
  • Participation in Colloquium on Canada-Viet Nam Cooperation in Higher Education and Research (Dec 18-19). Presentation by Mme Ton Nu Thi Ninh on the "Challenges of Starting a Private University in Viet Nam".

  • Participation at the Asia Society's 19th Annual Asian Corporate Conference (HCM City, April 22-24): presentation by Mme Ton Nu Thi Ninh at session on "The Human Talent Pipeline: Education and Capacity Building".
