History shows that Viet Nam's greatest asset is its people. Education will shape Viet Nam's future and determine its position in the global village. We have thus chosen to create Tri Viet University to become a flagship institution of Viet Nam's higher education.

 ANNOUNCEMENT

Thank you for visiting Tri Viet University Project website.  The Tri Viet Team would like to thank you for your interest in our work on higher education. Your encouragement and support have been a source of inspiration to us as we have strived to create the first truly green university in Viet Nam. It is with sincere regret that we must inform you that we have decided to suspend work on the university creation, as of January 2012, due to increasing financial hardships. It has been a difficult decision for us, but we believe it is the right one under the circumstances.

We are still intent on achieving the University’s mission of promoting knowledge and understanding and spearheading innovative forms of public service.  We have thus rechanneled our efforts into the creation of a knowledge and idea exchange, Tri Viet Center for Social and Educational Research, to help develop societal awareness around critical issues, encourage the public in looking for the larger and deeper picture, and chart collaborative pathways with interested stakeholders.  Here’s an introduction to Tri Viet Center for Social and Educational Research while its website is being constructed.  Our new contact information is below, or you can write us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Thank you again for your interest and support. We hope to benefit from your continued involvement in this new chapter of our work.

Nation Branding in Viet Nam

“Nation Brand” and “Nation Branding” are issues of salient actuality bearing on practical aspects inherent to the life of a country, such as the conduct of its trade, tourism, education, cultural affairs, and others.
The “Viet Nam Brand” belongs to all Vietnamese whether they reside in Viet Nam or abroad. Thus its building needs participation from all Vietnamese with guidance and coordination from the State.
With an aim to build-up public awareness about the significance, importance and relevance of the concept of Nation Brand, and its building in Viet Nam, Tri Viet Center has organized a Roundtable on “Nation Branding” (June 2010), a debate on “Perceptionsof the Vietnamese by Non-Vietnamese” (November 2011) and is finalizing a three -year action plan to develop ideas explored at the previous activities.

Tri Viet's Green Ambition
